Reader Species

I just found this and had to share. I'm mostly a Book Worshipper with a bit of Re-Reader thrown in for comfort. I love my library and own several books that are Not Allowed Out Of The House. But there are also a handful of titles that I own several (up to 5) copies of because I keep reading them to destruction or annotating them to hell or loaning them out to Book Thieves.

I Hate Summer

The heat saps my energy and my focus. On the really hot days, just getting through a day of work is a struggle. At the end of it, all I want to do is lie on the couch or sit in front of the TV. For a couple of weeks I even had a hard time reading, as I could barely focus on the words.

And, as you probably noticed, this blog fell by the wayside. I'm gonna try and pull it back together, as I have read several books that I need to talk about. Wedding planning is beginning to pick back up, too. Between the vacation I'm taking next week and the approaching end of summer, I should find the energy to start writing again.
